Room 10 were delighted to be invited to the opening of the new Amazon Web Services Building on Burlington Road on Monday 18th June. The children saw an interactive 3D show which showcased many digital technologies that Amazon are currently working on. They were then taken around the new state of the art building. They engaged in an entertaining workshop using Alexa technology and had the expertise of many Amazon staff members to help them. The children really enjoyed the experience and the skills they learned will support them with their STEM work. TV3 filmed the event and the children all received badges and goodie bags for their efforts.
